ARMY, Here's How You Can Get Exclusive BTS Photos, a Mobile Light Stick + More

(SPOT.ph) It’s been quite an eventful week for Filipino ARMY: On April 19, a fast-food chain announced that they will be coming out with a BTS meal in June and on April 21, Smart Communications, Inc. dropped a video featuring your seven most favorite people in the world where they share a very inspiring message to Filipino fans about passion and purpose—we know you’re lying if you tell us you didn’t tear up when RM said “let’s meet soon when this long winter is over” and when Jimin said “dear Filipino ARMY, I hope my heart can reach you and thank you for always supporting us.”

We’re still obviously very emotional about the nearly two-and-a-half-minute video message from our favorite boys, but there’s no time to cry because today, Smart is finally showing us the tricks they have up their sleeve as they unveil what every Filipino ARMY has been waiting for ever since they announced their partnership: the commercial film entitled "Live Your Passion with Purpose" as well as the exciting launch of the Smart x BTS Page where you can get exclusive access to behind-the-scenes photos, a mobile light stick, and other special content.
But first, let's talk about that inspiring two-minute commercial film featuring BTS' soothing single "Life Goes On" followed by their uplifting "Dynamite." In case you haven't seen it yet, here's the full commercial film:
The commercial film is packed with uplifting scenes and phrases, like Jung Kook's stairs scene with the phrase "KEEP INSPIRING," RM reading a book with the phrase "KEEP LEARNING," j-hope at the disco with the words "KEEP MOVING," Jin in a beautiful garden stairway with the phrase "KEEP CHASING YOUR PASSION," V at a subway escalator with the words "KEEP EXPLORING," SUGA in a musical-themed staircase with the line "KEEP LIVING YOUR PURPOSE," and finally Jimin at the fire exit with the words "KEEP CONNECTING."
BTS on the Philippines
During the launch of the commercial film, the members of BTS also shared some fun memories they have when they visited the Philippines. "I think we always went to Philippines once a year during our [tours]," shared RM. "And a lot of fans are waiting and supporting us even with a hot weather," he continued. "I'd like to visit again as soon as possible to hear the cheers of ARMY in Philippines." Jin also shared, "Philippines is a great country, and I really want to go there as a vacation spot." He ended, "I'd like to visit you again."
SUGA shares something surprising: "I watched Philippine basketball occasionally and the level was very high. They really love basketball. I enjoy watching it these days"—to which j-hope responds, "Yes, I know it very well." He continues "Philippines can't be left out for Southeast Asia tour. Food is also delicious. I love Philippines."
Jimin acknowledges Filipino ARMY's support on social media. He shares, "We know very well that you are always sending us messages through social media. You are also doing various activities such as uploading videos that cover our songs or dances and participating in competitions." V also recognizes that they have a huge fanbase in the Philippines. "I heard that there are a lot of ARMY in the Philippines. I'd like to see you as soon as possible."—us too, V. Us, too. And finally, the Golden Maknae speaks up. "Yes, I'm very grateful to all the ARMY who support us from far away," shared Jung Kook.
BTS also shares what their passion and purpose are. "Our passion and
purpose are of course is to encourage and inspire people with the music and
dancing we love. I think that's everything," RM shared. Jin added, "I'm not sure
about BTS' passion because I can't read the mind of our members. But my passion is to please ARMY. I will do my best with all my effort."
SUGA shared, "What makes us move is the ARMY waiting for us." j-hope added, "These days, I try to move with passion without purpose...that might soon become the purpose." Jimin shared, "The passion of the team comes from longing for stage and wanting to do music." He ended, "And the reason and purpose of course will be an ARMY." V shared, "I want to give encouragement and healing to ARMY's life with great music." Finally, Jung Kook shared, "I often think about what I can do right now, what I want to do, and what I need to do."
