Eraserheads to Reunite for One Night Only This 2022

(SPOT.ph) Looks like we're getting one last "huling El Bimbo." Terrible wordplay aside, our main point is that the Eheads are reuniting. No, seriously. The band is coming back together for a one-night show aptly dubbed "Huling El Bimbo" on December 22. It's been years since we've seen them all together on one stage, and the chances of this happening again with their history is sure to be slim, so ready your wallets and mark your calendars.

The news was confirmed by the band members via their social media accounts on Monday, September 19. The old-school graphics and finally, what looks to be a new picture of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Raymund Marasigan, and Marcus Adoro together again is doing things to our nostalgia-driven hearts. 

The concert happens on the special date of 12/22/22 at the SMDC Concert Grounds in Parañaque City. Tickets are not yet on sale so no price details just yet. Still, the poster drop was accompanied by a site URL as well as social media pages, so we've got our eyes peeled.

The band members teaser this reunion concert with cryptic posts on September 17. Each posted a version of an inverted "E" in the same yellow-based color scheme as the new poster. Thankfully, they didn't wait too long to confirm the news. You might recall the way vocalist Ely Buendia also teased a reunion concert during the 2022 campaign; we wonder if that had anything to do with it. Either way, BRB while we take out our old CDs.
