Here's Our First Look at Liza Soberano and Cole Sprouse in the Hollywood Movie Lisa Frankenstein
The actress just wrapped filming.
(SPOT.ph) With spooky season looming over the month of September like a fog ready to consume us all, it grows increasingly difficult to contain one's excitement over the horror movie binges come the month of October. Between the plethora of vampire, zombie, and werewolf content on available streaming platforms, it's curiously the misunderstood horror icon known as Frankenstein's Monster that's seen an uptick in word of mouth recently and, even more bizarrely, it's all due to Liza Soberano.
Early in August, the Filipino celebrity confirmed that she would be starring in her first Hollywood movie, alongside Riverdale's Cole Sprouse and Detective Pikachu's Kathryn Newton. The movie? An '80s vibin' horror-comedy wherein a high school student (Newton) reanimates a Victorian-era corpse (Sprouse) and shapes him up to be her ideal man. Adding a fun little spin to it, the film's title is Lisa Frankenstein, so get ready for a lot of "Actually, Lisa Frankenstein was the name of the movie. Liza-with-a-Z was the name of the actress," when the movie drops.
The actress confirmed in mid-September that she has wrapped filming on the movie, so we rounded up all the tricks and treats we could find from behind-the-scenes set photos of Soberano and the rest of the film's cast.
