(SPOT.ph) To be able to build your own home is one heck of a feat in this day and age (read: the economy). So while the rest of us can only dream of adding "homeowner" to our list of accomplishments, we're more than happy to make do with watching our favorite people get the title. Enter Kathryn Bernardo and her multi-year journey to build a home for her family. The actor took to Instagram on January 9 to share snaps of their house's construction—and it looks like it's just months away from completion.

Bernardo captioned her post with a happy "Final push!" and we totally get it. We've been keeping track of their house's construction in Antipolo, Rizal since groundbreaking took place in August 2021, so we can only imagine the journey she's been on since then.

In the latest peek, you can spot Bernardo, her mother Luzviminda, and niece Lhexine, among others, taking pics around the property. Yup, the house is huge. We're sure Bernardo will be more than happy to have a place to host her family and friends, of course. There's even one of the actor standing happily in a sprawling room which we imagine would make for an amazing living area. And we can't not mention that insane mountainside view.

The house's foundation looks just about done. And if her current home studio, which her mom gifted her with in 2021, is anything to go by, we're sure their dream house is going to be decked out in just as chic a manner.

Bernardo bought the property sometime in 2016 with the goal of building a home for her parents. "Hindi joke magpagawa ng bahay. Siyempre, kung may gusto akong ibigay kay mama na dream house, 'yong dream house na niya," she told PEP.ph back then.
