(SPOT.ph) Nadine Lustre has given fans a sample of what it would be like if she were to become the next Darna. Watch below as a tense but definitely game Lustre shouts out the iconic battle cry in a new vlog posted by fellow VIVA star Donnalyn Bartolome.
Although not exactly closed to the idea of playing Darna, Lustre has said, "I know naman kasi that the role is going to be given to someone who's deserving and someone who can do it. I mean, it doesn't have to be me. It just has to be someone who can give justice to the role."
Lustre appears to be on the shortlist to play the coveted role after Liza Soberano backed out due to an injury. Director Erik Matti, who was the original director for the film, has also voiced his support for Lustre, and with her fans backing her up, we can only hope that the search for the next Darna will be coming to a close soon.Â
