Glee star Lea Michele, Best Actress nominee in the upcoming Emmy Awards, was all praises for Glee guest star Filipina Charice Pempengco, reports TV Patrol World. "She and I filmed a hilarious scene the other day. Just hearing her hum and sing backstage... She has a gorgeous voice." She added, "She is the teeniest, most wee person I’ve ever seen in my life. She’s so darling and so sweet."
Early reports and Glee creator Ryan Murphy himself has said that Charice will play the rival of Michele’s diva character Rachel Berry. However, Michele said in a clip shown by TV Patrol World report, "I would give Ryan Murphy a little bit more credit than that. She is going to be a rival in a sense, but... Knowing Ryan, he’ll probably make us become best friends or something." DigitalSpy.co.uk reports Michele said, "But we might be in a catfight, I don’t know."
Charice will portray a Filipino (as she and her mother insisted) exchange student in the show that’s in the running for 19 Emmy Awards. The second season of Glee, the 2010 Golden Globe Best TV Series (Musical or Comedy), starts on September 21 on Fox.
