DLSU's Animo Pride Features the Biggest Names in Local Drag

(SPOT.ph) De La Salle University (DLSU) is setting the stage for one of the most star-studded Pride Month celebrations with Animo Pride: Drag Concert Extravaganza. We're talking six drag queens in one night!

The Animo Pride event will showcase a blend of music, dance, and drag performances at the Teresa Yuchengco Hall Auditorium on June 20 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This isn’t just for current DLSU students—the public is welcome to join the celebration!

The solid lineup features some of the most popular drag artists in the Philippines, with Drag Race Philippines star Marina Summers headlining for the beneficiary concert. Joining her on the fun are M1ss Jade So, Arizona Brandy, Maxie Anderson, Winder Sheason Nicole, and Taylor Sheesh.

“Get ready to strut your stuff down the rainbow runway, darling! Let us bedazzle (BEDAZZLE?!) the streets of Taft and celebrate our fabulous, authentic selves with PRIDE!” Animo Pride 2024 wrote in a post. “In this month of love and celebration, let us take pride in every color of the rainbow. No matter where you belong in the spectrum of colors, mapa-red, white, or royal blue, join us in Embracing Every Hue!”
