Emergency Hotlines in Metro Manila for Rescue

(SPOT.ph) Typhoon Carina has been causing heavy rainfall, floods, and landslides in the past few days. Metro Manila has already declared a state of calamity, while rescue efforts are underway for those affected across the nation.

Several areas and roads in the Metro are impassable for vehicles and families in flood-hit areas are being forced to evacuate. It does not help that the southwest monsoon, a.k.a. habagat is intensifying the inclement weather, which is expected to continue until the weekend.

If you are heavily affected by the typhoon now, we have compiled a list of emergency contacts you can call. Make sure to save the numbers, as they will come in handy later on.
