(SPOT.ph) So Imee Marcos—daughter of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos—is a senator now, and she's already doing a really good job at shining under the spotlight. During an orientation for newly elected senators on June 25, Marcos told reporters that she has been assigned to use the former office of Sen. Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV.
"Siguro magpapatawag ako ng Igorot namin dahil kailangan basbasan office ko," she said according to a report by CNN Philippines, adding "Kung papayag si Senator Trillanes, sabihin ko kay Sonny makikisayaw kami sa Igorot namin para mabendisyunan nang todo."Â
Trillanes has already fired back, calling her comment hypocritical, "even for a Marcos." The senator's random comment on "cleansing" the office has sparked the best Facebook comment thread in a while, with people responding to Marcos' call.
