(SPOT.ph) Amid all eyes fixed on Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s inauguration at the National Museum of the Philippines on Thursday, June 30—one local bakeshop, Hizon's Cakes & Pastries, has caught the attention of many for its bold and "intense" announcement of the shop's availability on said date. And we can't blame them for the unexpected attention; the sign sure feels like it has some unexpected spice.Â

What's up with Hizon's post and why are people reacting?
It's pretty straightforward, right? Said Instagram post is in line with the road closures around the Metro during the ceremony. It seems like a simple announcement but yup, we totally did a double-take, too. The post appears to have been on their Facebook page, too, based as well on the #Receipts people on Twitter have, but that one is now no longer on their page.Â
Many felt that there was something else to the post, like "somebody's not happy", especially seeing how the shop phrased its announcement. Rather than extra icing, there was an extra serving of... shade and gigil, and people online could not get enough.
This Twitter post has already garnered 14.6 thousand likes, one thousand retweets, and 371 quote tweets as of this writing.Â
And it doesn't end there...
Following the Instagram post last June 29, Hizon's posted a couple of Instagram stories. One even had a bitter gourd or ampalaya graphic, frowning with its hands in a frustrated gesture, saying: I'm a bitter gourd.Â
Hizon's is known for its famous Mocha Cake, and this will also climb up to the list of things about them. They've been around since 1946, located at 1197 J. Bocobo St. Ermita. They are open from Mondays to Sundays (except now, of course, we know why) from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
