Catch Free Rides to the New LRT-1 Stations From This Mall

(SPOT.ph) The LRT-1 Cavite Extension is causing quite the buzz on social media—for obvious reasons. It's finally offering commuters a way to skip the Pasay-Parañaque traffic without the need to switch between multiple modes of transportation. To make things even better, a Libreng Sakay route is now connected to two of the newly opened stations.
Starting today, November 18, commuters can catch free modern jeepney rides to MIA Road Station and Redemptorist-Aseana Station from Ayala Malls Manila Bay and vice versa. This free service will be in operation until further notice.
Rides are available every 30 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with routes passing through D. Macapagal Boulevard and Seaside Drive in Pasay City.
This might just be your new favorite commute for some Christmas shopping. Just remember that the last train from Dr. Santos Station—the south end of the current LRT-1 Cavite Extension—leaves at 10 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays and 9:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Libreng Sakay to and from LRT-1 Cavite Extention
Do take note that the route is a point-to-point (P2P) transit, which means it’s a straight commute to the destination. You won’t be allowed to get dropped off wherever you like, even if it's on the way.
The first phase of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension opened on November 16, adding five new stations to its route: Redemptorist-Aseana, MIA Road, Asia World, Ninoy Aquino, and Dr. Santos. That's 6.2 kilometers of new railway in the south.
Meanwhile, Ayala Malls Manila Bay is Parañaque’s first Ayala Mall. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.
