Get to the South Faster With Newly Opened Nuvali Flyover

(SPOT.ph) Roadtrips to the South may have just gotten easier with a new flyover in place.
Starting March 21, motorists can now breeze through Santa Rosa via the Nuvali Flyover located along the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) near the Laguna Boulevard Interchange.
This new flyover offers direct access for eastbound vehicles from the CALAX Service Road into Nuvali and the Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road—without the headache of the Inchican Intersection.

New traffic scheme for Nuvali Flyover
Along with the flyover’s opening, a new traffic scheme is now in place along Nuvali Boulevard and Inchican Intersection.
Under this system, the West Service road—from Santa Rosa Village 1, Don Bosco, and San Jose Village 1—remains two-way until it nears the Laguna Boulevard Intersection. Past that point, it shifts into a one-way road heading to the flyover. Meanwhile, the East Service Road on the opposite side is now one-way toward Mamplasan.
Additional traffic guidelines for surrounding areas, including Laguna Boulevard and Don Bosco/Biñan, are also included below.

Not everyone is convinced the new structure will solve the problem, however. Some motorists worry that funneling more cars into Nuvali and the Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road without expanding surrounding routes could lead to even worse congestion—just moved a few meters further.
Santa Rosa’s traffic woes have long been a pain point for commuters, especially during peak hours and weekends when Manileños flock to Nuvali for shopping or take the Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road as a gateway to Cavite for some R&R.
We'll just have to wait and see how it turns out in the coming weeks.
