Great food, a relaxing change of scenery, and a plethora of mall outlets make it a great staycation option for families—but where to stay?

Airbnbs might be a more cost-effective choice for some, but there's an inherent lure to the reliability of hotels that keeps people coming back. Hotels offer convenience and comfort that stem from standardized services, professional staff, and consistent facilities. This is why more Seda branches are popping up across the country, the more popular ones in business hubs like Quezon City, Makati City, and Bonifacio Global City.

Before Seda Nuvali's emergence, businessmen from Makati City and Alabang had few options for a good night’s rest. There were only smaller hotel choices in the area. Seda Nuvali is the first to offer fleeting travelers a hotel of this scale at four stars and up.

The hotel recently opened Tower 2, which is essentially a bigger and better version of Tower 1. It’s where Seda’s biggest rooms can be found. There are the usual Deluxe Rooms (P6,000), Executive Deluxe Rooms (P6,500), and Premier Rooms (P7,500), but Tower 2 introduces the Executive Suite and the Family Suite. 

The Suite (P8,500) and Executive suite (P9,500) are for individuals who prefer a distinct living space apart from the bedroom. This is especially suitable for top executives on business trips or couples gearing up for their wedding day. On the other hand, the Family Suite (P10,500) includes a master bedroom, a separate children's room with bunk beds, and a spacious living area. It's an excellent choice for families looking for extended getaways.

We were given the 60-square-meter Executive Suite, which comes with a spacious master bedroom and living room. Executive Suites are always positioned at the corner of the building, so every window has several overlooking views of the man-made lake. The space is good for two adults and two children.

The room looked like a typical hotel room, but it still exceeded our expectations with how comfortable and convenient everything was.

The master bedroom had a multi-purpose table for those who needed to get some work done for the day. It was also nice to end the day with some peace quiet, a warm bathtub, and a cold room to return to.

The receptionist also granted us late check-out the next day, which is always a good option because we could take a short nap after the breakfast buffet at the Misto restaurant.

Coming soon is the Seda Suite, situated on the topmost floor. It offers ample space with full-sized living and dining areas—and we heard it'd have the best lake views. This is set to open in the first few months of 2024.

What to Do at Seda Nuvali

Seda Nuvali stands out among hotels with its unique amenities, going beyond the standard offerings. In addition to the expected restaurant, swimming pool, pool bar, and business lounge, Seda Nuvali boasts a playroom and a game room.

The game room caters to every kind of gaming interest—classic board games, arcade games like air hockey and foosball, computer games, and even console games like Xbox and PS5. You’ll have to leave a valid ID with the hotel room number at the reception desk to borrow some consoles. Game lovers can easily spend a whole afternoon in this area.

Meanwhile, the gym has over 20 professional equipment for a complete workout session. From cardio machines to free weights, the gym is well-equipped to cater to a variety of fitness needs. Large windows let in natural light with a view of the pool, creating a refreshing scenery as you sweat it out.

The fun isn’t limited to Seda premises, either. You can feed hundreds of Koi fish for P20 or ride a taxi boat in the lake for P50 at Solenad 1, only a few minutes from the hotel. You can even walk it if you want some Vitamin D. Ayala Malls Solendad is just a car ride away if you feel like (window) shopping for the holidays.

Last but not least, Nuvali has off-road biking and running trails that pass through a stretch of lush greenery and scenic surroundings.

The Sta. Rosa experience isn't complete without a visit to Enchanted Kingdom. If this is your preferred choice of activity, Seda Nuvali is offering a magical staycation experience for P7,300 for a stay in the Deluxe Room, two regular passes to Enchanted Kingdom, and complimentary breakfast. This promo is only available until December 28.

Where to Eat

Seda’s signature restaurant, Misto, has international and local favorites in one plate. The main area is currently under renovation, so it has been relocated to Velvet 1 and 2 function rooms for now. Don't be mistaken—it’s still the same great food, just served in a different ambiance. 

Looking for something sweet and savory but don’t want to exit feeling too full? If you love Misto, you’ll love Misto Café. It’s Seda’s latest offering, where guests can go for home-blend refreshments and baked pastries.

Caffeine lovers can also hang out and sip on three hours of unlimited coffee and tea for P275 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Like the Enchanted Kingdom promo, this offering is only available until December 31.
