(SPOT.ph) The neo-noir action film John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum just hit local theaters on May 15, and fans of the movie franchise are all but geared up for it. Gamers also have a little something to celebrate with the movie's release—you can now play as the titular character John Wick in Fortnite, a popular online third-person shooting gamefor a limited time.
Apart from adding John Wick as a playable character, developer Epic Games is also adding a new game mode to the battle-royale shooting game, "Wick's Bounty." The game mode is, of course, inspired by the film's narrative: Players have to stay alive while collecting gold tokens and eliminating other bounty hunters to emerge as the winner.
The crossover event follows Fortnite's successful collaboration with Avengers: Endgame, where a superhero battle game mode was made available for a limited period of time.
