Though top-ups are free and can be done over the counter, verifying your account on GCash can unlock more services such as cashing-in through a variety of channels.

These IDs can be used for faster GCash account verification:
- UMID
- National ID
- Driver's license
- PhilHealth ID
- SSS ID
- Passport
- Voter's ID
- Pagibig ID
- Postal ID
- PRC ID
- Student ID
- Alien/Immigrant Certification of Registration
When taking photos of your ID for the verification process, make sure the ID is clear and readable in a well-lit environment. The holographic stamp should be visible and a full photo of the ID is required.
Expired IDs will not be accepted and a photo of the actual ID is required. Photos of a photocopied IDÂ are discouraged.
Users who don't have the aforementioned IDs can go to any accredited Villarica outlet to verify their accounts and present additional documents.
