(SPOT.ph) Heads up, Spotify users. The Philippines, along with Germany and South Africa, has finally joined the long list of countries that Spotify is increasing premium prices in based on Spotify's updated news release on October 2.

Listening to quality music on-demand with no ads will now mean paying a higher monthly subscription fee, starting at P149 for Individual Premium.

Existing Premium users will be given a two-month grace period before the new prices becomes effective, unless they cancel before this period ends. A few users are met with this news upon opening the app (take note that the billing date isn't January for everyone):

Subscribing to the Premium version will give Spotify users access to better music quality, offline listening, no ads, no listening restrictions, and cross-border listening.
