(SPOT.ph) Raise your hand if you've skipped doing your skincare routine on more than one occasion during this pandemic. Some may express horror over your lack of self care, but we totally get it. Once in a while, there are just those days when you're too busy, too stressed, or too exhausted to trudge to the bathroom and do your daily routine—an especially difficult undertaking for those who have a bajillion products on their bathroom shelf waiting to be slathered on each night. But while K-Beauty has led us to believe that 10-step regimens are a must, did you know you don't actually need a ton of products and beauty tools on your shelf? In fact, if you ask Filipino cosmetics label The Unbranded Skincare, you can get by with as little as three.

Meet The Unbranded Skincare, a Beauty Brand That's All About Keeping Your Routine Simple

Like many a brand born during a pandemic, The Unbranded Skincare was conceived as a response to a sudden realization from its creators. "Being in a pandemic, we realized we got busier," says co-founder Mells Limcaoco, noting that in the past two years, folks just didn't have the time (or perhaps the energy) to complete every step in a 10-product routine. In place of those high maintenance routines, The Unbranded Skincare champions a beauty philosophy known as "skinimalism," which embraces a less-is-more approach. While most brands tend to have a bevy of products to cater to various skin concerns, The Unbranded only has three in its roster.

Now, keep in mind that just as 10-step routines aren't mandated by law, neither is a minimalist, three-step beauty regimen. But what The Unbranded encourages is knowing what exactly the essentials are before stocking up on every single skincare product you see in a notoriously oversaturated market. In their case, that means just a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a suncreen.

Here's everything you can get from their three-step product line:

The Unbranded Cleansing Wash (P575)

Cleansing—the first step in any skincare routine—not only removes makeup and dirt buildup on your face, but also preps the skin for all the nutrients and benefits that your toners, serums, and exfoliants will provide. The Unbranded's take on the product is made with squalane, an ingredient known to help restore lipidic barriers on the skin, helping keep it clean, refreshed, and moisturized.

Packed with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid (for boosting hydration), centella asiatica (which can improve blood circulation and sooth irritation), and vitamin B3 (a.k.a. the fan-favorite niacinamide), The Unbranded's Overnight Cream has an ultra-moisturizing formula that promises gentle skin repair.

The Unbranded Day Shield (P850)

No matter your skin type, sunscreen is an essential part of any beauty routine, minimalist or otherwise. The Unbranded Day Shield is a broad spectrum SPF that protects your complexion against the sun's harmful UV rays and even claims to shield your skn from pollution and other breakout-causing irritants.

The Unbranded Skincare is available on their website, Beauty Bar's website, Seek the Uniq's website, Lazada, and at Beauty Bar branches.
