Score Books for as Low as P200 Per Kilo at This Magical Bookshop in the South

(SPOT.ph) Whether you're headed to the South for a roadtrip or you're a seasoned native of the area, finding a nook selling books for less feels a lot like discovering Narnia. If you're a literary fiend who has landed in the South, you'll want to check out Bookchigo, a bookstore straight out of a fantasy selling books for as low as P200 per kilo.

"They have lots of novels, books on art, Star Wars, Classics, British architecture, history, and children's books. Kulang ang isang oras," book buyer Keneth Gadian said in his Facebook post about Bookchigo.

Only books on the second floor are sold at P200 per kilo, but you have to buy a minimum of five kilos, Gadian told SPOT.ph. Books in the first floor are sold per piece and prices are low, he added.

"I got two books for P150 each plus one free," Gadian said, sharing that they were on "heraldic designs and writings of the mystics."

If you're a bit far from the South but can't let these deals slide, Bookchigo also holds live selling sessions online for those want to buy books for less. Debit and credit card payments are accepted, along with GCash and bank transfers. Delivery can be done via Shopee or J&T, but those closer to the bookshop can opt for Lalamove for same day delivery or drop by for a store pick-up.
