Shop, Sip, and Sell at This Aesthetic Tiangge Spot in Taytay
Who says you can't treat yourself while earning at the same time?
(SPOT.ph) The first place that comes to mind when it comes to looking for dependable dressmakers, seamstresses, and budget-friendly clothing pieces is the municipality of Tatay and its tiangge. Garments are often priced low and sold in bulk quantities making it hard to contain your inner shopaholic. Heck, the prices are so good that it's also the go-to destination of live sellers or "livers" for the countless products that they sell on their social media accounts. Whether or not you're on the hunt for your next OOTD or want to start a small live-selling business, you can have the best of both worlds at Manila's first retail and live selling space, Holidays Shopping & Live Studios.

Located in Taytay Tiangge (in front of GB Bazaar / Shinning East), Holidays Shopping & Live Studios is a Thailand-inspired boutique that sells a variety of clothing items for the different vendors located in Taytay. What sets it apart from other shopping destinations is the fact that live selling is encouraged in this space. It also helps that it looks less like your typical tiangge and more like an IG-worthy hub.
So how does it work? In an exchange with SPOT.ph, Holidays Shopping & Live Studios co-owner Trish Villanueva explains that visitors of the space can either shop for themselves or choose to go live on any social media platform and sell from the store's list of over 20 known Taytay brands like Shop Calyx, Shop Uniquia, and Moda Belle, to name a few.
"They can go live on whichever platform they use—FB PAGE, SHOPEE, TIKTOK, etc. and they don't need to stock up 'cos kung ano lang nabili that’s all they need to get and pay from the store. So saves sa puhunan, warehouse, electricity, WiFi and studio/live space. We have everything na inside as in the livers nalang kulang...very very convenient for start-ups and those who need help to grow their business," Villanueva adds.
In case visitors don't have the equipment needed to start a live stream, they can use the store's stash of filming equipment at no additional cost. There's also a small café attached to the side of the store in case you need a mid- or post-shopping snack.
Holidays Shopping & Live Studios is at 3 Manila East, Compound Don Hilario Cruz, Taytay, Rizal. They are open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
