Makina Watches has a new lineup of classic timepieces.

With timepieces named after angels and demons, Uriel and Andras take the reigns on Makina's latest models with the Uriel VI and the Andras I plus a new, more affordable sub-brand called M33 by Makina. It's the M33 that catches attention, what with it being able to be on the more affordable end of the spectrum without sacrificing style or quality.

Makina Watches have been on the wrists of men and women during every special occasion and more since 2016. Born out of owner and ad man Danilo Villanueva Jr.'s love for watches, this Filipino brand's wide array of world-class timepieces have fittingly gone global.

About the sub-brand, M33 by Makina:

M33 carries a bold yet minimalist approach. This line has their thinnest watches at just 7.5-mm thickness. The Zero, to be more specific, has a loud red face with a high gloss finish, plus quality metal hands for the dial. Zero (g), another variation of the M33, has a black and gold color scheme.

"M33 is our more affordable line," said Dan in a quick interview with SPOT.ph. "We wanted to create a sub-brand to provide more affordable models for everyone in the Philippines." The M33 is the perfect definition of accessibility without compromising quality.

Dan shares how they want to grow the sub-brand in the future.

"We want to make it different from Makina," he says. "We want M33 to be a little more open, lifestyle-focused, and younger. We want to grow M33 in that direction."

The Uriel VI and the Andras I

The Uriel VI is the brand's first bronze timepiece, sporting a sleek and classy look. It comes in two color variations: one in bronze and black and the other in emerald green. An absolute standout, we've got our eyes on the elegance of the latter.
