SNEAK PEEK: Gashapon Bandai's New Branch in Greenhills Mall

(SPOT.ph) Hordes of fans lined up when the first Gashapon Bandai store opened in Mitsukoshi Mall in Bonifacio Global City back in November 2023. It's easy to see why. There's nothing like a game of luck to get you excited for your fave anime series, movie, and K-Pop group. Others love the concept so much, they even buy their own Gashapon Bandai machine online (it's P6,863 on LazMall). You can expect even more thrill because the second branch of Gashapon Bandai is finally here.
They officially open today, March 15, at their latest location in Greenhills Mall in San Juan City. SPOT.ph got to sneak in a quick peek before fans start turning the machines. Just like the first branch, they have 300 machines where you can try your luck at and each token is still P65 each. The tokens needed for each machine varies—some need just three while some need six, with a specific number of tokens to be inserted per slot.
The Gashapon Bandai branch in Greenhills has rows upon rows of different machines that are labeled "Anime," "Variety," "Kids," and "Collectable." They also have flat gashapon on the right side near the back of the store.
The lounge area near the cashier at the back is a comfy place to take a break in between the games of luck. It's probably also where your tired S.O. is gonna sit down while you try to get that one gashapon that just won't come out. There are also capsules to pick from if the piece you get doesn't come with one.

The second branch of Gashapon Bandai is located on the 3rd level of Greenhills Mall, Ortigas Avenue, Greenhills, San Juan City. It's on the same level as Chris Sports and across Skechers.
