(SPOT.ph) Let's face it: Trends may come and go but sneakers will never go out of style. From the adidas Samba to New Balance 327s to On running shoes, they show up on everyone's wardrobe in one way or another. And it might be time to make more space because cult-favorite shoe brand Allbirds is opening in the Philippines. We spotted their board-up in Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City and here's what we know so far.

Shoe brand Allbirds is opening its first store in Shangri-La Plaza.
The Allbirds board-up in Shangri-La Plaza is on the 2nd floor of the North Wing, right beside Aldo and in front of Cibo. Along with the greenery background, it also included a TV showing all the celebs and personalities sporting their styles. And upon scanning the QR code, you'll be redirected to their Instagram account so you can learn more about them.
For those not familiar with the brand just yet, Allbirds gained a loyal following for their catalog filled with walking shoes that aren't just comfy but also sustainably made. Their most popular designs include the Tree Runner and Wool Runner sneakers and the Tree Runner flats. The prices of their shoes range from USD98 (around P5,760) to USD140 (around P8,200).
All their footwear designs are made with breathable and renewable materials, specifically eucalyptus tree fiber and merino wool. That also means they're less prone to odors. Another highlight of the shoes are that they're machine washable so they're perfect for everyday—even for rainy days.
As for those looking for comfort on top of the sustainability, their trademarked SweetFoam and SwiftFoam midsoles made with sugarcane will make it feel like you're walking on clouds. They were designed to make every step stable with energy return that puts that extra bounce in your step.
Where to shop Allbirds in the Philippines
At the moment, Allbirds is currently only available online through their website. And unfortunately, they don't ship to the Philippines just yet. We'll have to wait for their store opening soon.
