Side B Upcycling has upcycled pairs of slip-ons.
ICYDK, Side B Upcycling is an upcycling brand that offers a lineup of sustainable carriers. They use old and used materials such as tarpaulins for their big and small bags, pouches, clutches, and a whole lot more. The brand released its first-ever pair of upcycled footwear just last year, which is perfect if you still want sustainable footwear with laces. But if you want something more effortless, here's your next best bet.
For these slip-ons, the brand used two kinds of upcycled coffee jute sacks and flour sacks, as well as rescued deadstock vintage fabric.
The upper is a standout. No doubt everyone will remember the all-too-familiar prints of the flour sacks we all enjoyed slapping silly in markets when we were just kids. You can see the design on the inside, too. And since each fabric used is different for each piece, the looks of the upper as well as the colors of a design pattern on the heel will vary.
