Japanese retail brand Uniqlo has been around in the country since 2012 but this year, they opened Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store a.k.a. the largest Uniqlo store in all of Southeast Asia. It’s a sprawling 4,100-square meter retail space that occupies two levels of Glorietta 5, letting customers browse Uniqlo’s complete LifeWear collection as well as the Kids and Baby section. The store also has special features, like a gaming space and a balcony area with furniture designed by Kenneth Cobonpue.

The local streetwear scene was on a high when Off-White opened its doors in Manila last August. Lead by Virgil Abloh (the artistic director of Louis Vuitton), “Off-White” is known for their cool tees with their signature stripes across the back as well as their statement belts and cool sneaker collabs with Nike. Fun fact: The Manila store is “Off-White”’s 27th branch in the world!

When we first spotted the Innisfree boardup at Mall of Asia, everyone’s initial reaction was “well, it’s about time!” We’re not sure what took forever for the K-Beauty brand to open a store in the country, but now everyone’s just glad they don’t have to fly out of the country or wait for days for their Innisfree favorites to arrive on their doorstep just to shop from Innisfree.
