This Cool Device Tells You When It's Time to Water Your Plants
No more overwatering your plant babies!
(SPOT.ph) If you're revamping your home, plants are a great way to add color and life to your space. We already showed you some low-maintenance greenery that you can add to your humble abode (and where to buy them), but knowing what plants to buy is only the first step. You have to make sure you're taking care of your plant babies properly and not overwatering them. If you're new to gardening, this cool device can help get you started: The Sustee Aqua Meter will tell you exactly when your plant needs to be watered—no more killing your little green friends!
Simply place the Sustee upright in the soil between the edge of the pot and the plant stem, then water your plant and give it a few moments to absorb the water. Once your plant is sufficiently hydrated, the Sustee will turn blue. Just leave it in the soil and when it turns white, that means it's time to water your plant again—so all you need to do is monitor it! This device takes the guesswork out of watering your plants, perfect for new #plantitas.
It comes in three sizes, depending on the length of your plant's roots and the amount of soil the pot can hold. Check it out:
