(SPOT.ph) It always pays to support local brands, from streetwear to leather bags and everything in between. And that focus on local is one of the things we love most about Stride Collective, a homegrown community of Marikina-made footwear brands coming together to support shoemakers and artisans.
The collective brings the design and artistry of several homegrown brands together under one shoe-making facility, where each pair is hand-made using locally sourced materials. You can cop their pretty pairs online, but for those of you who are loyal to the old-fashioned way of shopping (a.k.a trying on your picks before you purchase them), good news: the Stride Collective is opening their very own brick-and-mortar store at ADV Building in Marikina City on July 28.

The Stride Collective makes all kinds of shoes for both men and women including sandals, mules, loafers, sneakers, boots, heels, and more—all with a local touch. The store will be home to over 15 local footwear brands like INNE, Bella Sorelle, Risque Designs, Hola Lili, Arvel & Co., Rippletwyne, and La Filippine, to name a few. We can't wait to see all their gorgeous pieces on display and start trying them on!
Here's a quick peek inside the store:

While we count the days until we can finally see these gorgeous shoes in real life, check out some of the pairs we're hoping to see in-store:

Stride Collective opens on July 28 at ADV Building in 4 J.P. Laurel Street Corner Chestnut Street Marikina East San Roque, Marikina City. For more information, log on to Stride Collective's Facebook page.
