(SPOT.ph) By now, you probably already know that the ashfall from Taal Volcano’s eruptive activity has reached certain parts of the Metro. If you’ve been on the hunt for face masks to protect yourselves from inhaling ash, here’s where you can buy some (but please, don't hoard). With the sudden high demand for protective face masks, some suppliers and resellers have raised the price exponentially but we're letting the Department of Trade and Industry take charge of keeping things in order.
But in case the dust masks are already sold out in drug stores and hardware stores near you, we stumbled upon a shop that’s giving away face masks for free: Furniture Source Philippines posted an announcement on their Facebook page saying that their doors will be open to those who are still in need of face masks.

All you have to do is drop by their store located on the second floor of Santolan Town Plaza, San Juan. They're giving away a maximum of two free face masks per person for fair distribution.
From the looks of it, they’re handing out surgical face masks, which means you will still have to insert two layers of facial tissue underneath to help filter out dust and ash and make sure that you don't inhale harmful ash particles.Â
Furniture Source Philippines is at 2/F Santolan Town Plaza, San Juan City.
