Uniqlo Is Reopening Stores During MECQ Starting May 17

(SPOT.ph) Today, May 16, Japanese retail brand Uniqlo announced on their Facebook page that they are reopening selected stores as the Metro shifts to modified enhanced community quarantine which allows businesses and shopping centers to partially open amid the pandemic.

According to their announcement, they will be opening some of their stores on Sunday, May 17, with special health and safety guidelines that shoppers should follow. Customers will be asked to wear face masks at all times and the store may limit the number of people going inside to make sure proper physical distancing can be practiced. They will also be doing temperature checks at selected stores.

Note: We suggest only going out if you really, really, REALLY need to shop for essentials. If you're heading out, always wear a face mask, don't touch your face, wash your hands frequently, practice proper physical distancing, and disinfect thoroughly as soon as you get home. Stay safe, Spotters!
