(SPOT.ph) Retail giant Uniqlo reopened its doors on May 17 at the beginning of the modified enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila. This was the first instance of operation for the brand following the temporary shutdown of all their branches in mid-March. Though selected stores are now up and running, some of you may still be skeptical about heading out despite social distancing protocols in place—and for good reason. However, we bring good news for those who have been missing the Japanese clothing store: It looks like Uniqlo might be opening an online store very soon!
Here's what we know so far: the Japanes brand teased a "new Uniqlo experience coming your way" through a post on their Facebook page today, June 2. The post featured a phone with a shopping cart symbol on it, so we're suspecting that the store's online platform will be available through their mobile app. The world-famous Japanese brand is known for clothing made from functional, high-quality fabric in wearable, no-frills designs at affordable prices. If you've ever stepped inside a Uniqlo store (and at this point, who hasn't?), you already know they sell a wide selection of apparel for men, women, and kids including tops, bottoms, underwear, outerwear, activewear, loungewear, pajamas, shoes, accessories, and more. We know you can't wait to be able to shop their pieces online, so keep tabs on this space for updates!
