After 43 Years, Regina Gift Shop Is Closing Their Doors
Thanks for the memories.
(SPOT.ph) It's a sad Sunday: Regina Gift Shop—yes, that Regina—has announced on their Facebook page that they will be ceasing operations. For 43 years, the popular '90s gift shop in Greenhills Shopping Center became everyone's go-to store. "It's been 43 years filled with discounts, good memories, and color. Thank you for growing old with us!" they write in their farewell message.
We're pretty sure you have fond memories of Regina—a treasure trove of toys and other cool knickknacks you didn't know you needed located in a little corner of the mall. That corner seemed to have everything you were looking for, whether it was a gift for a classmate's birthday, a costume for a Halloween party, materials for a class presentation, and more. The shop was also famous for carrying imported toys like G.I. Joes, LEGOs, as well as popular colognes like Nenuco, 23, and Denenes. They also had cute stationery, magazines, comic books, Trapper Keepers, and more.
We know you will always remember walking into the shop feeling overwhelmed by all the shelves and counters that were filled to the brim—and walking out of the shop filled with excitement because of all the cool finds you scored. Thanks for the memories, Regina.
