These Classic Converse Sneakers Get a Rainbow Makeover for Pride Month
There's also a blue-and-pink pair inspired by the trans community!
(SPOT.ph) Despite all that's going on in the world, it should still be acknowledged that June is Pride Month—which makes it a good time to learn more about the LGBTQ community by watching movies that champion Pride as well as by studying the history of the Pride March in Manila. If you're looking to show support for the community or proudly wear your gender (whatever it may be) loud and proud, we spotted something you might like: Converse just released a new Pride Collection featuring their popular sneakers in rainbow designs!
The collection features high-top and low-top variations of popular Converse pairs like the Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker and the Chuck 70 sneaker, each one sporting Pride-inspired colors in varying styles. Our favorite has to be these high-cut Chuck Taylors that feature a predominantly white exterior and white laces with vibrant rainbow colors making up the back half of the shoe. You'll also see a touch of rainbow on a small tag on the tongue.

If you prefer a pair that's rainbow from heel to toe, check out this low-cut Chuck 70 sneaker with black laces:
On the other hand, these low-cut Chuck Taylor sneakers sport pastel shades of blue and pink against a predominantly white exterior. These colors are the common representation of the transgender community and they look oh-so pretty on the preppy shoe.
Take a look:
For a style that stands out, you might like this sequined Chuck 70. It features the Converse logo in a rainbow pattern against a shiny silver exterior. You can also rearrange the sequins to reveal a rainbow pattern underneath. It's like owning two sneakers in one!
Feast your eyes:
The Pride Collection is currently available online. Due to international shipping constraints, expect some major delays in your purchase. We're crossing our fingers that they'll release these gorgeous pairs locally!
