Pet Parents, These Malls Now Offer Digital Passes for Your Furbabies
It's contactless and free!
(SPOT.ph) The ongoing quarantine isn't just affecting our daily movement, but also of our pets'—especially the four-legged ones that may have gotten used to hanging out at the mall with their hoomans. Hoping to provide a safer environment for mall-goers, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls launches the Digital Pet Pass—a contactless, passport-like permit that allows your pet to enter any Megaworld mall, store, and restaurant.
Pet owners who wish to bring their furry friends to Megaworld Lifestyle Malls across the Philippines can now apply for a Pet Pass by scanning the QR code at the concierge or through their social media channels. You can then fill out basic information, and upload a photo of your pet and a copy of the vaccination records. The Digital Pet Pass, which you'll get on your mobile, can be presented upon entry to mall premises and establishments.
"Aside from promoting safety by reducing contact, the digital Pet Pass also encourages fewer paper trails by cutting down the need for paper and other materials, which is a step towards driving sustainability across our lifestyle malls. This is also in line with Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ value of inclusiveness, where our brand of fun isn’t only for shoppers but for their pets, as well," Graham Coates, vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, said in a press release.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls has 11 outlets in Metro Manila, including Uptown Bonifacio, Eastwood City in Quezon City, Lucky Chinatown in Binondo, Newport Mall in Pasay, and more.
