After Five Years, Ritual Is Closing the Doors to Their Arnaiz Store
The one-stop shop for all things sustainable announced their closure on IG.
(SPOT.ph) To add to the list of store and restaurant closures amid the pandemic, Ritual has announced that they will be closing the doors to their Arnaiz shop in Makati after five years.
Located on the second floor of the Languages Internationale Building along Arnaiz Avenue, the one-stop shop for eco-conscious and sustainable products announced on Instagram that while they will be shutting down their physical store, they will continue to serve their customers online.
"Arnaiz location signing off after 5 years. Feels weird. This was a good shop, our second one. Great-looking, nice-smelling, a center of calm for our customers and also for us. Our perpetual playlist that now loops in the office. Customer life stories, interesting everydays. Our sweet neighbors. Everything will be missed," they write in an Instagram post.
They end their message on a rather bittersweet note: "We are still online, still doing refill appointments... Same, same, but different. Half of us stay in Manila, half off to Dumaguete with a pioneering spirit. Thank you for coming through. There will be a next chapter (there already is one). Our prayers for those who are having difficulties during these strange times. Solidarity and hope, forever."
Ritual has been a popular go-to shopping spot for those who subscribe to a sustainable lifestyle—newbie and veterans alike—so their shop's closure is definitely sad news to patrons and the entire eco-conscious community.
