MSI Philippines recently introduced its latest lineup of powerful laptops designed for gamers, enthusiasts, business professionals, and power users. The Taiwan-based PC maker is kicking off the Year of the Metal Ox with six new laptop models which are powered by NVIDIA’s latest RTX 30 series graphics chips and Intel Core i7 processors. The new game-changing machines come with enhanced cooling systems with larger fans and wider heatpipes, ultra-fast Wi-Fi 6E, and Resizable BAR technology, which allows the CPU to fully access graphics card memory for faster performance.
The All-New MSI Gaming Laptops for 2021
Leading the MSI lineup is the GE Raider series, which includes the GE76 and GE66. This premium gaming laptop line comes with RGB lighting on the SteelSeries keyboard and the front chassis, which makes each of the devices quite a looker without being loud. A 300Hz refresh rate display (17-inch for GE76 and 15-inch for GE66) gives it an extremely fast screen response that’s five times quicker than ordinary laptop screens. A Dynaudio sound system on the GE76 Raider delivers powerful sound including deep bass. And the best news for gamers? These laptops have one of the most powerful mobile graphics processing chips ever made: The GTX 3080 lets users run the latest games on ultra settings without skipping a frame.
For those who prefer a more subdued device, the GS Stealth laptop comes in an ultra-thin form factor that’s perfect for those who want a machine that won’t look out of place in a business setting yet packs enough oomph for a serious round of gaming. The all-black GS66 Stealth weighs only 2.1 kilograms and yet comes packed with the latest Core i7 CPU and RTX 30 GPU. The Stealth 15M is the sleekest in the series at 1.7 kilograms and a thickness of 16.15mm, making it one of the world’s thinnest 15-inch gaming laptops.
The GP Leopard series is geared to meet the computing-intensive requirements of engineers, architects, and graphic design creatives. Of course, because of their powerful specs, the GP76 and GP66 Leopard laptops have the computing muscle for intensive rendering sessions as well as getting high FPS in the latest games.
The pre-order period for the laptops runs until February 28 at MSI Concept stores. The laptops come with a pre-order bundle that ranges from P11,000 to P3,000 in value.
