(SPOT.ph) Over the past two years or so, mechanical keyboards have become increasingly popular, one of their main selling points being the click-clack sound that comes with each press; the stuff of viral ASMR videos. While those types of keyboards are undoubtedly cool, they're also not for everyone—those of you who need total silence in order to focus on your work may find those clicking noises distracting—even infuriating if you're prone to sensory overload. Luckily, there are other options on the market and if you're looking for a device that's as noise-free as possible, you've got to check out the Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Keyboard!

Why the Logitech MK295 Keyboard Is a Fan-Favorite Among Those Who Prefer Noiseless Typing
Now, to be clear there are silent mechanical keyboards out there, though they tend to cost a pretty penny, especially if you're eyeing a customized design. Logitech's MK295, however, offers that same no-noise operation for less than P2,000—and it even comes with a matching mouse.Â
The model offers 90% less typing noise compared to Logitech’s previous model, the MK270, which was also designed for quiet typing. The MK295 uses what the brand calls SilentTouch technology to achieve its noiseless quality. While not completely soundless, many users have called the device "essentially silent," according to Bustle, who describes the keyboard as a "fan favorite" that’s "whisper-quiet."

The MK295’s wide frame features the whole array of keys you’d find on a desktop keyboard including the number keypad on the right-hand side as well as extra shortcut keys up top for quick navigation. To use the keyboard and its acompanying mouse, all you have to do is plug the small USB receiver into your computer’s USB port—both devices should work up to 10 meters away. Plus, the keyboard has built-in stand legs for adjusting its height and angle, so you can position the device comfortably each time.

The MK295's accompanying mouse matches the keyboard in more than just color. It offers the same noise-free capability in its clicking operation thanks to that same SilentTouch technology. Its contoured shape promises a comfortable hold on your hand and wrist and its portable shape makes it great for remote working or for using on smaller desks. Both devices are powered by AA batteries and promise long battery life—36 months for the keyboard and 18 months for the mouse.Â
