You Can Now Ship Your Amazon Orders for Free

(SPOT.ph) We may have our own e-commerce platforms available in the country, but we all know that Amazon has us pretty much in a chokehold, at least when it comes to American shopping holidays like Black Friday. Given that overseas orders tend to cost an arm and a leg on top of whatever it is you'll purchase, Filipinos have gotten creative in how they get their online parcels delivered. Some prefer to use third-party couriers, others by way of their balikbayan relatives. Well, you no longer need to worry about how you'll get your Amazon order to our shores as the e-commerce platform has announced that it will offer free shipping to the Philippines.

Here's how you can get free shipping on your Amazon orders:

According to their website, qualified items with a total order value of $49 are eligible for direct free shipping to the Philippines. In order to determine if the product you wish to purchase qualifies, a "FREE Shipping to Philippines" or "our order qualifies for FREE Shipping". Take note that your Amazon account must be changed to ship directly to the Philippines and not the United States.

While deliveries can take as early as six days for priority shipping, keep in mind that taxes are not computed with purchases from the platform.
