Release the Zoomies at This Free Off-Leash Dog Park in Makati

(SPOT.ph) Living in a highly urbanized center like Makati City can be daunting for pet owners. It's no joke looking for a safe spot to bring your pets for their regular dose of exercise and time outdoors. Lucky for us, more and more dog parks are popping up in and around the Metro. Case in point, we just found out that the Circuit Makati Off-Leash Dog Park is finally open. And the best part about this new dog park in the mall area? Your dogs can tire themselves out and release all their energy here for free!

Check out the newest off-leash dog park in Makati:

Open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, Circuit Makati's Off-Leash Dog Park is a great place for your fur baby to run, play, and socialize safely with other dogs. It's a fenced area dedicated solely to man's best friend, with lots of room for zoomies and having fun. The area is also grass-covered and well-lit, which means dog owners who live in the area and are looking to spend quality time with their pets after office hours can do so safely despite the lack of daylight. Alternatively, early-bird pet owners can also have pre-work outdoor time with their fur babies as the park is also open pretty early.

It was only last February when Circuit Makati teased that a dog park was soon to open on their grounds. And while the dog park's opening has been kept on the relative down low, Circuit Makati just released reels and videos showing dogs having fun at the newly opened space.

Fur parents can rest assured Circuit Makati takes the safety of their pets, as well as the handler's, very seriously. As such, the following rules and regulations are strictly enforced within the dog park's premises:

Here are the rules to remember when taking your dog to the Circuit Makati dog park:

• Dogs must be current with their vaccination and rabies shots. Proof of medical records needs to be presented before entry. No record, no entry allowed.
• An adult, i.e., those aged 18 or older, must accompany dog(s) inside the park at all times and carry a leash in hand for each dog. 
• A limit of two dogs per adult must be observed. 
• Only a maximum of 20 people per hour will be allowed at the dog park.
• No children are allowed in the off-leash dog area; children 15-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
• Dogs must be leashed before entering and exiting the dog park area.
• Dangerous, vicious, or aggressive dogs are not allowed.
• Dogs in heat or under four months of age are not allowed.
• Make sure you are with your dog before taking off (or putting on) their leashes. Some dogs feel threatened if they are leashed in the presence of unleashed dogs. 
• Dogs must be leashed everywhere within the Circuit Events Grounds.
• Dogs must be under the voice control of their handler and in view of their handler at all times.
• For the safety of your dog(s) and other park visitors, shock, prong (pinch), and spike collars are strictly prohibited. 
• Dog owners must clean up after their dogs.
• Please do not bring human food, dog food, or long-lasting chews into the park. Small dog treats are permitted. 
• No animals other than dogs are permitted in the area.
• Owners are requested to self-police the area and use the park at their own risk. 
• Please refrain from smoking inside the Dog Park to protect the grass. 
• Circuit Makati, Make It Makati, and Ayala Malls Circuit are not responsible for injury or illness to dogs or their owners.
