ICYDK: There's a New 24/7 Basketball Court at This Parañaque Mall

(SPOT.ph) Many Filipinos love basketball so much that basketball courts are almost everywhere, from a random street corner with a makeshift ring to air-conditioned, FIBA-certified ones. If you're looking to play ball on the weekends or even after work hours, there's a new indoor basketball court at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City. Plus, it's open 24/7, so you can easily fit a game or two into your busy schedule.

Reservations and costs at Ayala Manila Bay Sports Center's indoor basketball court:

The Ayala Mall Manila Bay Sports Center is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. You can book a one-hour slot that costs P1,500 through their online booking portal. This already includes access to the restrooms and shower rooms, availability of lights and fans, and use of the digital scoreboard. The basketball court can also be transformed into a volleyball or badminton court.

Game officials and scorers are all in-house with the following fees:

• P800 - One Referee
• P800 - One Statistician/Scorer
• P1,300 - Two Referees
• P1,800 - Three Referees
• P1,300 - One Ref. + One Stat./Scorer
• P1,800 - Two Ref. + One Stat./Scorer
• P2,300 - Three Ref. + One Stat./Scorer

It can also be used as an events space for a rental fee of P5,000 for a minimum of four hours. Maximum capacity is 300 pax with the same inclusions (restrooms, shower rooms, lights and fans, and digital scoreboard).

How to book a slot at Ayala Manila Bay Sports Center's indoor basketball court (based on their SmartSheet):

1. Check the availability of the schedule.
2. Click "Book Now" to reserve your preferred schedule.
3. Reservation of your activity/event shall be on a per-day basis.
4. Fill [out] the form and click Submit.
5. Wait for Ayala Malls Manila Bay's e-mail confirmation.
6. Proceed with the payment. Modes of payment are through Admin's Treasury Office (5/F), the cinema office (applicable on weekends and after office hours only), or BPI Online Bank Payment via Bills Payment (other banks to follow).
7. Once paid, you shall be informed via e-mail confirmation that your schedule has been reserved.

Terms and conditions at Ayala Manila Bay Sports Center (based on their SmartSheet):

• Reservation must be made at least two days before the planned use date. Reservation must be paid in full within 24 hours after receiving the reference number. Non-compliance with the payment period will void the reservation.
• All booking reservations will receive an email with a reference number within 24 hours. Submitted reservations during the weekend will be processed within 48 hours.
• Reservation of activity/event shall be on a per day basis.
• Ayala Malls Manila Bay Sports Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any reservation as it may deem necessary.
• Ayala Malls Manila Bay Sports Center has the right to amend or change the rules, rates, and policies without prior notice.
• Users shall observe strict compliance to the confirmed schedule. Users shall use the facility only within the reserved time slot.
• Extensions are subject to availability. Proceed to the 5th Floor Admin Office and pay the succeeding fixed hourly rate (₱1,500).
• For events and leagues, preparation and clean-ups must be included in the time allotted.
• Users of the Ayala Malls Manila Bay Sports Center are expected to observe proper behavior at all times.
• Users must wear appropriate attire, including a shirt or top, shorts, and rubber shoes at all times. Playing barefoot or in slippers/sandals is strictly prohibited.
• Misconduct within the premises of the Sports Center and any damage to equipment will result in forfeiture of use.
• Repair expenses for damaged equipment shall be shouldered by the users.
  Ayala Malls Manila Bay Sports Center and Administration shall not be liable for unattended valuables, property damage, or injury suffered by any person arising from the activities occurring at any time prior to, during, or after the use of the facility.
• Smoking, gambling, and littering are strictly prohibited. Players are not allowed to go beyond the rented area.
• Beverages consumed during the stay must be in a container with a lid and be brought when leaving the area. No alcoholic beverages shall be permitted in the facility or grounds at any time.
• The Ayala Malls Manila Bay Sports Center observes strict compliance with claygo (clean-as-you-go). Kindly observe cleanliness within the facility.
