(SPOT.ph) It's no secret that public libraries are scarce in the Metro. People looking to get work or studies done often do so in coffee shops or co-working spaces, places which can sometimes can get noisy and cramped. If you're in Makati City and are looking for a quiet place to stay and work, consider heading to the Filipinas Heritage Library at the Ayala Museum. Complete your research, work, or study at this space for only P300 per day per person.

Here's why you should visit the Filipinas Heritage Library:

The Filipinas Heritage Library is located on the sixth floor of the Ayala Museum. This privately managed space is home to over 10,000 Filipiniana volumes published from 1946 to the present. This includes books and audiovisual materials on literature, history, and the social sciences; coffee table books and manuals; anthologies and journals; and graphic novels—and that's just the central holdings. Other smaller sections are dedicated to rare books, presidential letters, and even a memorial for executed World War II families.
