And, well, if you're flying out of NAIA, just getting to your terminal can sometimes take longer than your flight, so we totally get it if the anxiety is high while lined up at security or check-in counters. Ease your mind by trying Cebu Pacific's self-service bag drop counters. You might have seen these counters before, possibly while stuck in a long line to drop off your check-in luggage. Confused by all these newfangled features? Allow us to clear it up.

How to use Cebu Pacific's Self-Bag Drop counters:
These bag-drop counters are not new. They've been in NAIA's Terminal 3 and the new Clark Airport Terminal since 2022. Still, we typically see shorter lines for them, which we chalk up to two reasons: it may feel a little intimidating to use, and a little more optimistically, because they're quick to use, hence no line.
You'll see the signs for the self bag-drop counters right next to the usual lanes. What's extra great at Terminal 3 is that these counters are the first ones you see if you enter via the special online check-in entry door. A crucial first step: make sure you've already checked in online before heading to your terminal. This means you've already sped through the first security check, now you can speed through luggage drop-off, too.
These counters typically have standing monitors in front of them, these are the kiosks you need to start your self-service processes. At NAIA, you can check in, print your boarding pass, or print your baggage tag. At Clark, the kiosks we saw only had options for the last two.

Steps for the self bag-drop kiosks of Cebu Pacific
1. Select "Print baggage tag."
2. Input your booking's reference code.
3. Wait for the kiosk to print out your baggage tag/s.
4. Affix the tags to your luggage by looping them around a handle. Be sure to peel where the markings are and to keep the receipt so you can claim your bag in case necessary.
5. Head to the drop-off counter and place your luggage one by one on the belt.
6. Scan your boarding pass. The conveyor belt should then activate.
7. Watch as your check-in luggage heads out without you!
