Free Books at Pop-Up Library In Ayala Triangle Gardens This Month

(SPOT.ph) We all love a good book, and even more so if it's free. If you're looking for a new read without shelling out cash, consider checking out The Book Stop Project's newest spot. Bookworms, get ready: the free pop-up book nook is going to be at the Ayala Triangle Gardens this April. But before you go running to the park today, here are some important details you need to know.

Here's what we know about this free pop-up library:

The Book Stop Project is coming back to the Ayala Triangle Gardens. In a post on its social media page, the pop-up library announced its return to the Makati City park starting on April 20 in celebration of Dia Del Libro, a.k.a. World Book Day. 

ICYDK, the Book Stop Project is a free pop-up library initiative in the Metro. Housed in functional yet artful kiosks built by the WTA architecture and design firm, the project has hundreds of free-to-read-and-borrow books of different genres for everyone. One might chance upon titles from authors like Paulo Coehlo, Dan Brown, Michelle Obama, and Emily Bronte on display and ready for reading.

Here, readers are encouraged to "give a book and get a book" with the hopes of creating a community of readers in every location they visit. 

But this isn't the only Book Stop Project location in the Metro, nor is it the project's first time at the Ayala Triangle Gardens. The Book Stop Project has been building free pop-up libraries around the Metro since 2016. Currently, they have a permanent free library at the Plaza Roma in Intramuros. 

How do you borrow and donate books at The Book Stop Project's free library?

As the Ayala Triangle Gardens pop-up library is still currently being set up, book donors can drop off the books at Instituto Cervantes on the ground floor of Ayala Tower One. Once the pop-up library is already open to the public, readers can exchange books at The Book Stop. All they have to do is place their donations neatly on the shelves of the library. 

Bookworms can expect a wide array of titles every day as the book selection can vary in a snap, thanks to the dynamic book exchange policy of "get a book, give a book."
