Central Bark Dog Park Is Now Free to the Public

(SPOT.ph) Good news furparents! Taking your dog out for their daily exercise rounds just got better and a whole lot cheaper.

Central Bark Park just announced that they are making their off-leash dog parks free for the public. Bring your dogs and their friends over to the two Central Bark dog parks in the Metro and have them play and socialize with other puppers in a safe open-air area sans any fees. Check out what you need to know about their new pet policies.

Here's what you need to know about Central Bark's new policy:

Starting August 16, Central Bark Park BGC and Makati are now going to be free for the public. Gone are the days when bringing your pupper to these parks would require a P100-day pass or a monthly membership; the off-leash dog parks are making all the dog facilities free to play in.

Whether you're headed to their OG 600-square meter park along BGC's 24th Avenue or at their Makati spot in Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo, both dog parks can now be your pupper's playground sans any fees. Your doggos are in for a s-pup-tacular time when they run around freely on the grass or any of the readily available dog-friendly obstacles. 

This policy will be in effect until further notice, as the park owners are considering making this a permanent feature to accommodate more dogs in the areas. We're keeping our fingers crossed that it all works out so the Metro can have more dog-friendly open spaces.

Some reminders for a hassle-free visit to Central Bark Park:

• Make sure your dog's vaccination records are up to date. Your pupper will be interacting with a lot of other canines, so for every dog and hooman's safety ensure that all their vaccines are updated. 
• All dogs must be supervised at all times. There will no longer be park rangers on-site. Dog owners/walkers must be attentive to their dogs to avoid any accidents.
• Private dog training sessions are not allowed in Central Bark Park. Only training sessions from Paw Nation will be allowed inside the park.
