(SPOT.ph) We're nearing the end of the year. How are your fitness goals coming along?

If you're like us and are rushing (read: cramming) to meet your wellness goals for 2024 without breaking the bank, it's time to join the aRUNeta Run Club.

Check out the ARUNeta Run Club:

Tie your shoelaces and put on your best athleisure outfits because Quezon City now has its own weekly fitness program—similar to Ayala's Car-free Sundays and Greenfield district's Live Well Weekends. Engage in physical activities and exercise leisurely with your loved ones every Sunday from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Araneta City Grounds when you join the aRUNeta Run Club.

During this time, a 1.5-kilometer portion of Araneta City becomes car-free. You can opt to join the group runs, which include a Zumba warm-up session. Just head to the Green Gate of Smart Araneta Coliseum if you want to join in on the run club's group activities.

Alternatively, you can use the time and the area's public open spaces to roam and explore Araneta City or do physical activities such as cardio training, cycling, and skating.

Only the following streets will be car-free for Sunday activities: Gen. Romulo Ave., Gen. Roxas Ave., Gen. Araneta Ave., Gen. McArthur Ave., Gen. Aguinaldo Ave., and Times Square Ave. No fees will be collected to participate in the aRUNeta Run Club or use the streets for any physical activity.

Whether you're really into exercise and getting fit or believe run clubs are the new dating apps, consider making a beeline for Araneta City on Sundays as your wellness activity for the week—er, day.
