Fantasy World Is the Country's Largest Indoor Amusement Park

(SPOT.ph) Young or old, there's something about going to theme and play parks that just excites us. We don't know if it's the adrenaline rush or the nostalgia of our childhood that pushes us to rush into places like this, but it's always exciting when a new park opens. So when we got wind that a new theme park was opening up north in SM City Fairview, we knew we would brave the North traffic and visit Far-view at all costs. 

After a bunch of scheduling mishaps (as is normal for adult friendships), we finally got to see Fantasy World for ourselves. Here's what we think of Quezon City's newest and largest indoor amusement park.

Touted as the largest indoor amusement park in the country, Fantasy World is one of the newest theme parks to hit Metro Manila. Not to be confused with the abandoned theme park of the same name in Tagaytay, we assure you this spot is open for play. 

Located at the 2/F of SM City Fairview's Central Walk, Fantasy World spans over 3,000 square meters and has seven main areas: Naughty Castle, Trampoline Park, Toddler Playhouse, Roller Skating, Bumper Car, Robot Battle, Railway Theater. 

The first area you'll notice upon entering is the massive Naughty Castle. Think: the fast food play areas of your childhood and up the ante. This space is a giant pastel-colored ball pit with long slides that'll give you thrills for days. While some of the slides might be small and can accommodate mostly those on the petite side, they also have areas for big kids and kids at heart.  

Going deeper into the park, you'll soon reach the Trampoline Park. Much like other trampoline parks in the Metro, this area has, you guessed it, a vast number of bouncy pads where you can practice your aerial skills, tumbles, and cartwheels.

But aside from bouncing to your heart's content, you can also challenge yourself mentally and physically by going through Fantasy World's obstacle course, still within the Trampoline Park. They have a wall climbing area, rope challenges, and a mini zip line designed to excite adrenaline junkies of all ages. 

There's also a roller skating rink on site where you can glide and roll on wheels. It's a small area, so don't expect to do complex and hardcore tricks, but it's a great area to practice thanks to the smooth floors and handrails around. 

Right beside these active play zones are the Bump Car and Railway Theater. While everyone is most probably already familiar with the classic bump car ride, the railway theater leaves more to the imagination. 

You can think of the railway theater as a 4D cinema. A short flick will be playing on-screen, and riders will be on board a moving cart that reacts and mimics the movements on screen. 

Fantasy World isn't just for big kids; it's also a great place to bring little kids—specifically, the Toddler House. This area for small kids has craft tables, a myriad of toys, and play sets designed for the little ones. Although this area is meant for toddlers, guardians must supervise them at all times. 

Fantasy World has all your favorite indoor active play activities in one place. But we're not going to lie; the sheer number of activities can be overwhelming. Do not worry. Fantasy World has packages you can avail of if you want to try a bunch of attractions in the indoor park. Alternatively, it is also possible to buy tickets to each attraction separately.
