Philippine International Pyromusical Competition Schedule 2025

(SPOT.ph)  See the sky light up in a dazzling array of colors and patterns—nope, this isn't for the New Year celebrations. It's for the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition.

The much-anticipated fireworks and musical show will have its 12th run starting February 2025. It's time to start planning your Saturday trips to the SM Mall of Asia with your friends, family, and loved ones to watch an amazing sky symphony as the Philippines hosts the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) again. 

Here's all you need to know about this returning nighttime spectacle.

Here's what we know about Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2025:

The Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) 2025 will run from February 15 to March 15—significantly earlier than its previous runs, which were held in the middle of summer, around May to early June.

Dubbed as the "world's largest lights and music show," the PIPC is an annual competition among fireworks manufacturers from different countries. For five straight Saturdays at 7 p.m. sharp, SM by the Bay at the SM Mall of Asia becomes the battleground for pyro-musical supremacy as competing countries from around the world, such as Canada, the United Kingdom, the USA, and China, light up the sky with colorful displays timed to the beat.

As in previous years, two competitors take to the Manila Bay skyline every Saturday, dazzling the crowd with back-to-back fireworks displays in a thrilling showdown of color, timing, and flawless synchronization.

As the host country, the Philippines cannot participate in the competition. However, we can still show our Pinoy pride during our exhibition shows during the opening (February 15) and closing (March 15) ceremonies.

How to get tickets to the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition:

As of writing, there's no word yet on how much or where we could get tickets to the 2025 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. But if we were to base it on last year's run, ticket prices could range from P200 to P3,000, depending on the tier and date. 

Last year, tickets to the competition were made available online through SM Tickets a month or two before the show dates. Don't worry. We'll keep our eyes peeled for more deets on ticketing for the 2025 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition.
