Cebu Pacific Is Transferring All Siargao Flights to Clark

(SPOT.ph) Traveling to Siargao this year via Cebu Pacific? You might have to adjust your travel plans because Cebu Pacific announced that they are moving all Siargao flights to Clark International Airport effective this March.

Don't panic. There's still some time to change your plans. Check out how this move will affect your travel plans and what you can do about it.

Here's how Cebu Pacific's move will affect Manila-Siargao travelers starting this March:

In a statement released to the media, Cebu Pacific announces that direct services between Manila and Siargao will be canceled starting March 30, 2025. As such, the following flights via Cebu Pacific's subsidiary, CebGo, will be affected:

Manila-Siargao-Manila

• DG 6837/ DG 6838 
• DG 6839/ DG 6840
• DG 6841/ DG 6842

If you have bookings under these flight numbers, starting March 30, these can be replaced by the following flights from Clark International Airport:

Clark-Siargao-Clark

• DG 6759/ DG 6760
• DG 6761/ DG 6762

This shift is in line with the resolution issued by the Manila Slot Coordination Committee of the Department of Transportation on December 3, 2024, which stipulates the gradual transfer of turboprop aircraft from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 to other nearby airports.

Other flights affected by the shift from NAIA Terminal 2 to Clark

Aside from Manila-Siargao flights, Manila-Masbate flights are also similarly affected by the move this March. The following Manila-Masbate-Manila flights will also be canceled from March 30 onwards:

• DG 6177/ DG 6178

If you have bookings under these flight numbers for March 30 onwards, these can be replaced by the following flights from Clark International Airport:

• DG 6171/ DG 6172

Note that only these flights are affected by the shift as of 2025. While AirSwift, which is now wholly owned by Cebu Pacific, also has flights in NAIA Terminal 2, its flights will continue to operate from Manila until March 2026.

What options do affected passengers have if they are affected by CebGo's move to Clark International Airport?

Note that Cebu Pacific will formally notify passengers about the shift in the coming days. Before you start panicking or, more importantly, start making new plans, all is not lost. You can still go on the vacation you planned provided the following options:

Free Rebooking

Passengers can rebook their flights without any fare difference. This is valid for travel up to 30 days from the original flight date.

Note that flight changes beyond 30 days of the original date are allowed but will incur fare difference charges.    

Travel Fund

Alternatively, you can also store the flight amount in your CEB Wallet, a.k.a. the Travel Fund. You can use this to pay for a new flight or pay for add-ons such as baggage allowance, seat selection, meals, etc., on other flights.

Refund

If rebooking your flight or putting the money into the Travel Fund is too drastic for you, you can also opt to get your money back in full and use it to book a new trip.
