Philippine Airlines Now Has Daily Flights to Batanes and Siargao

(SPOT.ph) It's no secret Batanes and Siargao are two of the country's most sought-after destinations. Whether you're a party-goer with a penchant for catching swells in the country's surfing capital, or craving a dose of quiet countryside living with rolling hills and beautiful cliffside vistas, these two spots offer the perfect R&R you deserve after long grueling hours in the Metro. 

Good news: there will soon be more opportunities to fly directly to Siargao and Batanes. New daily flights to both destinations are starting this May courtesy of Philippine Airlines. Check out all the deets you need to know to get the ball rolling on your dream vacation.

Here's what we know about Philippine Airlines' new flights to Batanes and Siargao:

Starting May 1, Philippine Airlines will be offering daily flights from Clark to both Siargao and Batanes.

This isn't the first time PAL has flown to these destinations from Clark. You might remember that in July 2024, PAL announced it would resume Batanes flights from Clark International Airport. Shortly after, it also announced the resumption of Siargao flights from Clark in December of the same year. The catch is both flights only flew on specific days to the island destinations, but starting this May, Philippine Airlines will now have daily flights to and from these spots. 

Here are the flight schedules for Clark to Batanes (and vice-versa) flights starting May 1, 2025:

Clark to Batanes (CRK to BSO)

• Daily flights aboard PR 2688 operated by PAL Express
• ETD Clark: 9:45 a.m.
• ETA Basco, Batanes: 11:15 a.m.

Batanes to Clark (BSO to CRK)

• Daily flights aboard PR 2689 operated by PAL Express
• ETD Basco, Batanes: 11:45 a.m.
• ETA: Clark: 1:15 p.m.

While Batanes is one of the most pristine destinations in the Philippines, we have to admit, flights to the island can get pretty expensive. A quick search on the website shows that introductory flights to Batanes can go as low as P8,533 one-way, including 10 kg checked-in baggage. 

Meanwhile, for those who want to head to the country's surfing capital, these are the flight times you must catch. 

Here are the flight schedules for Clark to Siargao (and vice-versa) flights starting May 1, 2025:

Clark to Siargao (CRK to IAO)

• Daily flights aboard PR 2875 operated by PAL Express
• ETD Clark: 1:45 p.m.
• ETA Del Carmen, Siargao: 3:50 p.m.

Siargao to Clark (IAO to CRK)

• Daily flights aboard PR 2876 operated by PAL Express
• ETD Del Carmen, Siargao: 7:15 a.m.
• ETA Clark: 9:15 a.m.

In contrast to the quiet and serene Batanes, Siargao has a bustling party scene. Sure, the waves and fine-sand beaches are the main draw, but the fun doesn't have to stop when the sun sets. If this sounds like a good time, you should brace your wallets and save up for flights starting at least P6,089 one-way, which includes a 10 kg baggage allowance.

If you've been looking for a sign to visit these destinations, let this be it. The new flight schedules start on May 1, but you can book flights as early as now for those dates. If you're just itching to visit these destinations ASAP, flights from the OG schedules are still available.
