Free MRT-3 Rides


We know the MRT-3 isn't always the most reliableor convenientoption if you're heading somewhere, but some people still choose to ride it over getting stuck in EDSA's traffic. In any case, women can ride the MRT-3 for free from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow.

The Metro Manila Development Authority is offering free rides for women on the Pasig River Ferry service for the whole day. As the only water-based transportation system in Metro Manila, the service cruises the river from Pinagbuhatan in Pasig to Intramuros in Manila City.

Since your ride from to Manila is covered by the ferry service anyway, why not drop by to watch full dome shows at the National Planetarium? Astronomy-lovers will enjoy being surrounded by (digitally projected) stars. You can also walk around and look at the new exhibition on ethnoastronomy and space science before or after the show.

If it's a new experience you're looking for, then you might want to head out earlyonly the first 100 female guests can enter the Bagumbayan Light and Sound Museum for free. Catch the one-hour show chronicling the life of national hero Jose Rizal. It uses different visual effects, soundtracks, and other technologies to elevate the experience.

Discounted Green Fees at the Club Intramuros Golf Course


When the Americans came to the country, drastic changes were made to the walled city of Intramurosincluding the construction of a golf course, which is considered to be one of the city's oldest courses. The first 30 female golf players to drop by tomorrow can avail of a 50% discount on green fees.
