This Airline Is Giving Away 50,000 Free Tickets for 2020
And you won't know where you're going...at first.
(SPOT.ph) Tokyo is one of the most popular destinations in Japan. It is home to the coolest stores, hippest restaurants and bars, and museums and parks that you can visit for free. The capital is also the venue for the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics. But if you want to explore other places in Japan like Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Sapporo, here is your chance: Japan Airlines is giving away up to 100,000 seats for free (so that's 50,000 roundtrip tickets) for travel between July to September 2020. Win a Trip with JAL, as the special campaign is called, lets you fly from Haneda Airport in Tokyo or Kansai International Airport in Osaka to other domestic routes without spending a yen. (So yes, you have to pay for your own tickets to Tokyo or Osaka first.)
To join, you have to be a JAL Mileage Bank member who lives outside of Japan and holds a non-Japanese passport. You're also eligible if you're a Japanese passport holder, but holds permanent residence rights in another country.
Applications open in February 2020. You can sign up as a group with four people or less. To join, here’s what you have to do:
- Log on to Win a Trip with JAL by February 2020.
- Four destinations will appear on your screen. If you're happy with the set, then go ahead and enter your information. If not, another batch will appear.
- You'll get an e-mail within three days if you're one of the lucky ones (plus, which Japanese destination you’re visiting).
Win a Trip with JAL officially launches in February 2020. For more information, visit Japan Airlines' website.
