ICYMI: This Luxury Commuter Bus Takes You Direct to Sagada Overnight
Get ready to doze off during the 12-hour trip.
(SPOT.ph) Getting to Sagada in the Mountain Province can be a bit tricky. You have to take a nine-hour bus ride to Banaue in the province of Ifugao, hop on a van to Bontoc and travel for two hours, then go on a 45-minute jeepney ride to Sagada—which may or not be a top-loader (a.k.a. you might have to sit on the roof). But if you want to skip all that, a provincial bus company—Coda Lines—has direct daily trips from Quezon City to the Cordilleras.
Their air-conditioned Super Deluxe Bus has an onboard restroom along with 35 recliner seats grouped in twos, assuring you lots of leg room. Trips are available at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. for P980. There's also free WiFi and blankets for passengers. Travel time is 12 hours, but you can just doze off and wake up in time for your arrival in Sagada.
Coda Lines' Manila-Sagada route starts at HM Transport Terminal in Cubao, Quezon City and ends at the Sagada Town Hall. Booking online, through Coda Lines' or Biyaheroes' website, is encouraged.
